HeritageMingle is a Heritage Relationship and Genealogy Platform. You use it to document your family record, find your communities, meet other members, and, with mutual consent, compare family histories. Membership is voluntary and free at the base level.
You must be 18 or older to create an account. If we learn that an under-18 has signed up, we remove the account.
We do not state that two members are biologically related on the basis of what members submit. We do not tell anyone they are safe to marry. We do not replace medical, legal, or genetic advice. Every Heritage Check we run carries this disclaimer alongside its result.
You own what you submit. You can request a copy of everything on your account at any time from Settings. You can delete your account and we remove your data (with a short grace period for accidental deletion).
You agree to follow the Community guidelines. Harassment, impersonation, scams, hate speech, or content involving minors will result in removal.
Premium features, AI credits, and marketplace fees are charged through a payment provider (currently PayPal). Purchased credits do not expire. Promotional credits may. Refund requests reach us at hello@heritagemingle.com and are handled case by case.
Some features use external providers: PayPal for payments, mail providers for email, an AI provider for the Research Assistant, an SMS provider for phone verification. These providers have their own privacy terms, linked from their own notices.
You can leave at any time. We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms or the community guidelines. If we act, we say why.
When these terms change materially we email registered members before the change takes effect. Continued use after the change means you accept the update.
